Shimpei Zaiman (財満晋平) graduated from a University in Okinawa in 2005 and he moved to Aichi prefecture in 2006 to study pottery further. He, then, moved to Hiroshima prefecture to establish his own workshop in 2008 and he has been creating new items there since then.
His styles of pottery vary from very primitive to modern styles and that may be why I have been attracted to his works.
The brush mark yellow plates come in two different sizes and the larger one is about 25cm in the diameter and the smaller one is about 19.5cm. The prices are 5,000yen + tax and 3,300yen+tax consecutively. The brush marks are all hand painted, so the designs and color are all slightly different.
There are bowls in two different sizes too.
The prices are 5,000yen for the larger one and 4,000yen for the smaller one.
We usually use these bowls for having noodles like ramen and udon or possibly soba as well as salad etc. They are suitable for being used for meals with soup especially.
The large bowls are his primitive styles of work and it, I suppose, originates from his life in Okinawa (just my guess though).
They are very distinctive and eye catching items, so they will be a perfect center piece on your table.
The green one is 15,000yen +tax and the size is 28.5cm x 22cm.
The yellow one is 12,000yen + tax and the size is 23cm x 20.5cm.
The small plates come in two different colors and designs. The diameter is 12cm and the price is 2,000yen + tax.
The simple yellow plates come in 5 different sizes and the smallest one is 9cm and the price is 1,000yen + tax and the largest one is 21cm and the price is 4,000yen+tax. The one with persimmon is the second smallest size of 12cm and the price is 1,500yen + tax.
The chrysanthemum flower plate is beautiful and i often use this plate at home too. The diameter is about 22cm and the price is 6,000yen.
The small chrysanthemum plates are about 11cm in the diameter and the price is 2,000yen+tax.
These Sake carafe and sake glasses are now being prepared and I am expecting to have them at my store by the end of this year. He has been getting really popular these days and he still have numbers of exhibitions lining up, so new orders will be very slow till they arrive here.
The dark green bowls for having rice called Chawan are also beautiful and they can be used as a matcha green tea bowl too. 4,000yen +tax.
These are his works that are all sold out already, but I will show them for the reference. You can order them too, but it will take 3 to 6 months to prepare them.

When the total of your purchase exceeds over 5,000yen, you can enjoy tax free shopping. We need your passport to do that to purchase at our store in Tokyo, so please do not forget to bring it with you, when you visit our store in Tokyo.
How to purchase them?
You can either visit our store in Tokyo or you can send us emails and we can send them overseas by EMS or send them to those designated hotels or places within Japan where you specify after confirming your payment.
Please tell me which item you want and we will calculate the cost of EMS (we normally provide cheaper option if it is available) and we will request the payment with PayPal to you by email. We will send it to you right after we confirm your payment.
For domestic delivery within Japan, the shipping cost is only 660yen and it is free when the total goes over 11,000yen.
Shipping cost will vary depending on the destination, so please send a message to the address bellow and I will calculate the cost of shipping and will let you know then. If you are happy with the shipping cost, I will, then, send you the invoice using PayPal. I will, then, send it to you after confirming your payment.

The shop is only 1min walk from Gaienmae station （外苑前駅）Exit 1b on Ginza line Tokyo Metro. When you walk up the stairs of the exit 1b, you just need to walk straight for about 100m and our store is on the right side of the street on the ground floor.
Gaienmae station is only 2 stops away from Shibuya on Tokyo Metro Ginza line.
