Kaori Walsh – Japanese modern pottery

Ms. Kaori Walsh lives in Tokyo, but she has been making her products in Mie prefecture, where she studied pottery.

It has already been over 7 years since I first introduced her works at my store and her works have gradually been getting more popular these days.

She visited my store few weeks ago to bring the new items and I will introduce them today.

The large round plate is about 21.5 cm in diameter (6,800yen+tax) and the small round flat plates are about 12cm in diameter (2,200yen+tax).

The 21.5cm diameter plates come with different designs as well.

The square plates is 12.5cm and it can be used for serving cakes and cheese etc, but they can also be used as saucers for cups.

The designs are all hand painted, so each design is one of a kind and it is also fun to choose from.

The mug cup is 3200yen+tax and the cup is 2800yen+tax.

The most popular items are these chopstick rests (900yen+tax) and also cutlery rests (1100yen+tax)/

The cutlery rests are especially popular for restaurant owners.

She also brought these sake cups with her this time.

They are all different in shapes and also the sizes, but the price is all 2400yen+tax.
