Spirited young talented ceramic artist, Ms. Tomoko Takahashi

Ms. Tomoko Takahashi (高橋朋子)was born in Hokkaido, where is an island in the northernmost part of Japan and then she later graduated from a University in the southernmost part of Japan called Okinawa. She now lives in Chiba, which is only about an hour train journey from Tokyo.

Her ceramic style has constantly been changing from time to time continuously evolving with her own style.

The prism series is my favorite amongst other works of her and it is characterized by the glittering seashell like graze used.

This is a matcha tea bowl, but it can also be used for other purposes.

The size is about 12cm in diameter and the hight is about 7.7cm.

The silver color is a real silver coating.

These are bonbonniere, which is about 10cm in hight and the diameter is about 8.5cm.

The gold color is coated is the real gold and the silver color is also coated with the real silver.

What a cute bonbonniere! I absolutely love them. My only regret is my poor quality of photography….. The real ones look 10 times better than the photos.

The prices are 6,000yen+tax (they are relatively cheaper than those of other works, so the price might be increased in the near future though) .
