Ōryōki 応量器 Set of nested wooden bowls for Zen buddist monks

Ōryōki  (応量器) is a set of nested wooden bowls for zen buddist monks to eat meals.

It generally consists of 5 bowls and 1 small plate and Zen buddist monks use only these bowls for having meals.

It is beautiful piece of art, but it is, of course, practical bowls, which you can actually use for eating meal.

You can see the actual bowls at my store, but you can also purchase them online.

We can also send them overseas too by EMS (the payment can be done with Paypal), so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us http://www.mabysoshite.com/contactus/contactus01.html
