Pure tin beer glass (純錫製のビールグラス)

Many people drink beer with glassware normally, I suppose. In Japan, however, it is getting more popular to use these tin made beer cups especially at high-end restaurants, where care about the taste of beer.

It has been said that these metal made glasses make alcohol taste better due to the effect of ionic activity. When you compare the tastes of beer (beer from tin cup and beer from glass cup), you will certainly be able to tell the differences, i.e. many people say that the taste of beer from tin cup is significantly better than that of glass cup.

The reason why you can have better taste beer with it is not only because of the material used, but also how the surface of the glass is treated. If you look closely, you will be able to see that the surface is not smooth and flat, but it has really small bumpy surface. That creates the bubble creamier and the taste also becomes creamier leading to better taste of beer.

There are two different sizes; 380ml and 300ml.

The smaller one can be put into the larger one like the photo above.

There is even smaller glass of 220ml for those people who want to enjoy just a bit of beer or it can also be used for drinking sake etc.

All of them come in separate beautiful gift boxes.
